Morning Year 5,
Well done on submitting your work on seesaw. Please remember the password changes weekly for the zoom meetings with your teachers. The new passwords will be sent out before planned meetings. Please keep on checking the blog and remember your live lessons for MFL and PE on Tuesdays and Thursdays. PE and music post their work for you on a Monday and there is an MFL takeover on a Friday. If you can it is important you join the morning meetings with your class at 8am. It is a great way to ask any questions or talk to your classmates.
Please remember to continue placing your work into the subject specific folders e.g: MFL, French Mandarin etc. All teachers have sent you the code and link you require to access your folder.
If you need clarification with absolutely anything please just email your class teacher during the hours of 7:25am- 1:45pm. You can also use the communication tool to send a notification to your teacher using Seesaw.

Guided Reading
Last week we asked you to read up to Chapter 17 Journey to London, from The BFG. Today we would like you to read (or listen to from the link below) this chapter and choose 5 comprehension questions to answer. Please remember to answer your questions in full sentences.
Year 5, your task this week is to prepare a PowerPoint following today's Toolkit. Last week you all completed wonderful title pages using Microsoft Word, this week you will be using Microsoft PowerPoint. Similar to last weeks, you will need to make a front (title) page, then continue on inserting pictures and text to the next few slides. The tool bar at the top is very similar to Word so we continue to utilise and improve previous skills learnt. The toolkit this week is incorporating the 'Chili Challenge', this way those of you who want to push and improve your ICT skills can do so.
Your Task: To make a PowerPoint introducing your family. Make a title page, insert photos of your family introducing them to us with the use of adding text next to the photos. Tell us dates of Birth, places of Birth and share some of your favorite family photos. Add transitions to each page and animations to each photo. Follow the Chili Challenge Toolkit to ensure you have pushed yourself to try and use more aspects of the program.
