Dear Parents/Guardians,
In Year 5 we always look at ways to celebrate each individuals learning and how as parents you can become involved in your child’s learning journey.
On Friday November 15th between 7.45am – 9.00am you will have the opportunity to come into the classroom and take a learning walk through your child’s books and have an open discussion about the different curriculum areas they have covered so far.
We want it to be a celebration of all the positive steps they have taken so far in Year 5 and also identify what the next steps are to continue making progression. This will be led by the students and is a great opportunity for you to share in their success.
As a parent you don’t always have the time to reflect on the daily life of your child while they are at school so we will have a shared activity in your child’s classroom related to a specific curriculum area for you to complete once you have completed looking at your child’s books.
