Wednesday 15th April

Morning Year 5,

Well done on submitting all your work using seesaw. Remember we are now using seesaw as our communication tool for planned zoom meetings. Please check your inbox or personal journal for these notifications. Please make sure you check the blog for specialist subjects like PE and music who post their work for you on a Monday and there is an MFL takeover on a Friday. If you can, it is important you join the morning meetings with your class at 8am. It is a great way to ask any questions or talk to your classmates and a good way to start your day.

If you need clarification with absolutely anything please just email your class teacher during the hours of 7:25am- 1:45pm.

ART

This week Year 5 we are continuing on from perspective drawing and using these skills to complete 3D drawing. What is 3D drawing? 3D drawing simply means to draw something that has Volume or Space and this creates the illusion of Height, Width and Depth in an image, when it is viewed from a particular Angle. This week, use the link to start and stop it at your own pace. Follow the artists steps to complete your very own 3D Robot. Once you have mastered this, your task is to brightly colour your robot and glue it onto your perspective drawing, making it look like robots have taken over!
