Friday Illusions

We had some really positive feedback on how you enjoyed the illusions last week and could we have some more. So going with your request please look at the illusions below. Please remember not to fix your eyes on the screen for more than a few minutes.

The answers are available by clicking on the link not on the image. Is your mind playing tricks on you?

Read Aloud Friday

As we did last week, today we have added three magazine articles for you to read and enjoy.

Click on the links below and find out about zebras, in the article 'Why do Zebras Have Stripes' or click and find out about otters in the article 'We're Still Here'.
Read and watch the story about Lily Hevesh in the article 'Domino Designer!'

Why Do Zebras Have Stripes?           We're Still Here.            Domino Designer.

Click on the videos or the vocabulary sections, shown in the articles, to learn more about each news story.

TOP TIP!
A useful tool if you want to listen to the article is that you can click on Text-to-Speech (found on the left hand side of the screen), which will read the text aloud to you. You can slow this down too, if it reads it too fast.

Enjoy learning more about the world around us!

Spelling

Remember to do your spelling test today. Ask your parents or a sibling to run through your ten words. Record down your score ready to pass onto your class teacher.
