Times Table Rock Stars is a great way of supporting and developing number knowledge for every student and we hope you encourage your child to spend time practicing so they become a rock legend up to their 12 times tables. One of our Year 5 students was lucky enough to take home the rock legend electric guitar last week so really hope to retain it in Year 5 this week.
The current concept we are covering in Year 5 is division. This can often prove a difficult skill to master but a good knowledge of times tables often makes the progression easier and the steps to doing a range of division problems quicker. Spending some time viewing and discussing these with your child will only have positive benefits to their number skills and grasp of the division operation.
