Dear Parents,
We are just about ready for our departure tomorrow. I know all the children seem really excited today and can’t wait to get underway. We just wanted to give you a few reminders before we depart.
All children need to come to school as normal tomorrow. We have asked them to leave all bags on or beside the piano steps and not carry them upstairs. When the bell rings we have asked them to leave the bags behind and come up to their normal classrooms for registration. Once we have taken our registers we will come down and collect all bags and transfer to the front of the school to the waiting buses.
If your child is currently taking medicine can we remind you to send it in within a clearly labeled plastic bag with your child’s name and dosage clearly outlined. This will be centralized into one medical bag and be administered by one of the teaching staff at the required times.
Camp updates will be sent via the Year 5 curriculum blog. Depending on the time these may be just quick messages or contain photos from the numerous different activities the children will be undertaking. If you have an emergency and need to get in contact with staff at camp can you please contact the primary office directly and they will contact us.
We are due to arrive back between 3 – 3.30pm on Thursday so please ensure that you are there to pick up your child on time. We will update the blog on the day of return so you know exactly when to expect us.
Looking forward to another outstanding Year 5 camp!
